Mantis

Description:

This Mantis has its own way of camouflage by mimicking a dried twig. Its the largest mantis I've ever seen having almost 6 inches body length from its head to the tip of the abdomen. It has a behavior of playing dead when disturbed by larger organism.

Habitat:

Tropical forest.

Notes:

this specimen came inside my tent at night , it plays dead so I got the good chance to photograph it.
