Largish moth. Brown with small, white island-like patterns on the back.
Cave in Cappadocia region. I had stepped into one of the hollowed out spaces to get out of the extremely strong Sun when I saw this beautiful moth resting almost at the base of the wall.
The Cream-spot Tiger moth of the UK... Arctia villica bears a strong similarity.
