Description:

Not at all sure what this is. Small thumbnail size, resting under a leaf.

Habitat:

At the edge of an open place close to a swampy woodland, in Periyar Bamboo Garden N.P.

Thanks to you I have found this to match mine. I am not sure it of the bird-dropping bit.

I agree with Reza

I found this species Cyrtarachne inaequalis very close to yours and the link above as one found in India. A lot of references for this species is from japan where it is supposed to be a newly found species .
