Gonocephalus bellii
Probably the most colourful Dragon (Family Agamidae) to be found at my backyard right at the top of the Hill, highest point on the Island, where they can be reliably found. On the most recent photo hike on Christmas Eve, we saw 4 individuals, 2 healthy adults of which 1 is a female, looks pregnant or after a heavy meal and 2 tiny babies as small as my pinky fingers. They can be very variable in colours with the tiny babies in all shades of brown, well camouflaged on twigs. Adults wears gorgeous colours and will even flash the skin flaps on their neck to show the blue scales, as a defensive posture.
