In a small lake inside forest.

Thank you SukanyaDatta for your comment. What I know about this plant is that way back in time it was used for people with digestive problems. Stomach problems in some farm animals such as cows, sheep and goats have been treated with extracts from it.

Lovely flower.
It is so similar to the snake gourd flower: https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/20...

I have never seen the species you have posted and in case, you have not seen snakegourds or flowers...this is an edible vegetable. I used to plant one or two sometimes....you need to tie a stone to the end of the snakegourd so that it grows straight!!
