Tussock Moth

Description:

This Tussock caterpillar is black with yellow stripes. It has brown dorsal tussocks on the first four abdominal segments. There are bright red, raised glands down the length of the caterpillar. The black setae which typically extend from the prothorax and again from the eighth abdominal segment are missing.

Habitat:

Oak woodland

Notes:

This caterpillar was barely moving
