Black Swallowtail

Papilio polyxenes asterius

Description:

this caterpillar has yellow stripes (black spot-like features on the yellow), white-ish stripes, and dark blue thin stripes. it has thicker black stripes near the head (this caterpillar was upside down eating). I think it's some kind of Swallowtail caterpillar, but I'm not certain.

Habitat:

the butterfly garden at the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

Notes:

I believe it's eating dill or fennel?
