Osmoporus odoratus
The the hard mushroom is colored brown, orange and with a yellow growth zone when in active growth. It is up to 20 cm wide and 6 cm thick. The pores are yellowish brown to cinnamon brown. The pore openings are round, and there are 3‑5 per mm. It sometimes smells strongly of anise.
