Description:

Also known as 'love-in-a-mist' or ragged lady, this is an annual herbaceous plant some 40-50 cm tall, with thread-like leaves and attractive terminal blue flowers of some 5cm across.

Habitat:

Probably introduced species here, native to southern Europe. Here seen in bords of a pathway meandering through hedges and fields, in rural parts of Geneva lake valley.

Notes:

Seeds are toxic.
