Notes:

The sitka spruce is a medicinal plant with a cool life cycle. If a seed lands on a log, it still grows. The tree grows roots around the log (pic 2), and gets very big (pic 1). The log rots away and the giant roots stay in place (pic 3). The root cavity is so big i sat in it.
